Tender Board (TB), Section 41, Procurement Act

The Tender Board (TB) is the primary decision-making body for procurement within the organization.
It reviews, approves, and authorizes procurement activities to ensure compliance with the Procurement Act, regulations, and organizational policies.

The TB ensures that procurement is conducted fairly, transparently, and in the best interest of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Approve procurement methods and solicitation documents before they are issued.

  • Review evaluation reports submitted by the PMU.

  • Approve contract awards and authorize signing of agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with the Procurement Act and related regulations.

  • Review procurement plans and monitor their implementation.

  • Oversee dispute resolution in procurement-related matters.

  • Maintain records of all decisions for auditing and transparency.

  • Advise the Director General on procurement-related issues.
